The Ministry of Health has opened up the application process for students studying in a health discipline who will be in their final clinical placement between April 1, 2022 and September 30, 2022. The student must be in a non-salaried final clinical placement. The bursary funding is for $2,000 with a Return-in-Service (RIS) commitment of one year. The bursary recipient is required to serve the RIS with a publicly funded employer in a rural or northern community in the province of Saskatchewan. For the purpose of this bursary, rural and northern are anywhere in the province outside of the cities of Saskatoon and Regina. Some exceptions apply.
