MRT Week
November 3 - 9, 2024
MRT week is celebrated annually in Canada highlighting the important role that medical radiation technologists (MRTs) play in the healthcare system. MRTs deliver professional imaging and radiation-related treatment services with a caring touch allowing patients to fully benefit from the latest medical diagnostic and treatment technologies.
Through
continued awareness efforts and community engagement, we can further enhance
public understanding and appreciation of the vital work performed by MRTs.
On behalf of Council, the SAMRT Community Engagement Committee recognizes the contributions
of MRTs with a digital image of the MRT Week Banner. The digital image appears on billboard displays around the province throughout the month of November.
